Thank you for checking out our Vintage, Circa 1987 / 1988 Charvel Model 3A in the incredible Electric Blue finish with the factory original Charvel “chainsaw” hardshell case.

This particular Model 3A is 100% original and ready to shred. These are very cool guitars for several reasons. The Model 3A’s from this era in Electric Blue are the only ones to come with a JT-6 Trem and NO pickguard. All the other 3A’s (Black, White, Red) came with a Kahler and a pickguard. 

The neck on this guitar is super comfortable and fast. Check out the beautiful figured maple! 100% honest play wear is to be found on this fine guitar. A few minor dings to the body and headstock are the only things keeping this guitar from being listed as mint. The headstock tip is not chipped. Perfectly normal for a guitar that has been a workhorse for the last four decades.

Overall this guitar is in Very Good condition. The case is functional with one missing latch and several of the letters on the “Charvel” logo have been painted to match the guitar. Too cool! 

This is a great opportunity to purchase a sweet vintage Charvel that is 100% original (the frets are not worn), 2 original Jackson USA J-80C humbuckers and tons of “cool factor.”

This guitars quality and performance is not only on par with the new Charvels rolling out of Mexico and Japan…It exceeds them. Why buy a newer repro when you can own an original vintage Charvel?
