Cool vintage late 70's- early 80's Harmony Marquis Deluxe P bass.
Black finish with natural stripes.
Overall in nice condition. Body shows a few finish chips, back of neck has a ding and a scuff.
Neck is straight, frets have very light play wear with plenty of life. Truss rod works.
G tuner is not original. Bridge saddles are not original.
Some of these came with Dimarzio pickups. I am not sure if these are Dimarzio's but they do sound good.
Volume knob works but is basically on/off, there isn't much taper to it.
The 9th fret is a little high on the E string, it buzzes when fretting at the 8th.
D and G strings buzz at the 17th and 18th frets, so there is a high fret on that side around the 19th.
Beyond that it plays well up and down the neck.
It could use a new set of strings and a set up.
Comes in a cool, funky faux alligator soft shell case.
