Let us introduce you to this 12-string marvel that we added to the Used & Vintage stock.

The 381 V69 models are the pinnacle of quality and manufacturing by Rickenbacker and the most emblematic of the 'Ric' models are the 12-string ones, which are mounted in a unique and particular way.

The 381/12 V69 stands out with its classic hollow body design, but slightly wider for greater resonance, and constructed with a solid hand-carved premium curly maple top and back.

Maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard (also exclusive) with triangular inlays.

To highlight that they belong to its highest category, the brand uses a binding with a chess pattern on these models.

In addition to all this, this piece is a series limited to a few units manufactured in 2003, belonging to the exclusive, appreciated and highly sought after 'Color Of The Year' series with Montezuma Brown finish.

Natural, Fireglo, Mapleglo, Jetglo – these are the finishes you typically see on Rickenbacker guitars and basses, but between 2000 and 2006, Rickenbacker used some bold shades on select models that they called Color of the year.

These instruments in exclusive colors are highly appreciated and sought after and do not last long on trading platforms.

To add insult to injury, we will say that of all the 'Color Of The Year' colors (6 in total), the most appreciated was undoubtedly the Montezuma Brown, because it is exclusive and different without over-braking and maintains the classic aesthetics of the Ric .

This piece is in pristine condition although it is already 21 years old. It has not been touched, so there is no wear anywhere. It retains its original documentation in the case, including a new set of brand strings.
