A Yngwie Malmsteen Strat before it was called a Yngwie Malmsteem Strat! The ST72-86DSC (and 90DSC introduced a year later) sported YJM specs before the official YJM Strats landed in the Fender Japan catalog! You've got the big CBS era headstock, Dimarzio HS-3 pickups and Scalloped fretboard that Yngwie was so famous for!

Our Strat also sports the much rarer Daphne Blue finish, the vast majority of these guitars were Vintage White. A really cool finish to see on a 70's style Strat!

• 2x Dimarzio HS-3 in the bridge and neck (neck pickup is a modern replacement as the original had died)

Our old Strat is in great shape for a guitar of this vintage. Some age related marks are present but nothing unsightly! Frets have been freshly levelled and crowned. The neck HS-3 has been replaced with a brand new pickup as the original had died (original included). Freshly set up with D'Addario 10's and ready to shred!
