Vintage OD/distortion pedal handmade in Kyoto, Japan, a unique and impressively versatile sounding distortion ranging from Klon-like overdrive (maybe crossed with a vintage OD-1), to very smooth and creamy distortion with heavy sustain. Tone knobs are quite responsive which allows for a wide variety of tones. From pushing tubes to that sweet spot, to heavy riffs and leading solos when cranked, this pedal has quite an impressive range. Sounds great stacked with other dirt pedals as well. To me it does have some Cornish/Muff-like qualities when cranked, but way more creamier and not nearly as heavy or fuzzy (putting this before a Muff or fuzz sounds incredible).
Not sure how this pedal hasn’t landed on my radar before this, I think it’s pretty obscure. But I’ve found it extremely versatile and a true joy to play. Plus it just looks cool. Also been using this thing as my main bass distortion lately… I’m very particular about my bass dirt and this pedal sounds great with the old 4-stringer, a rarity with distortion pedals in my experience.
