1925 Gibson A Junior snakehead mandolin in very good condition. I have owned this mandolin for 30 years and it was played for 3-4 of that as I kept it mainly for sentimental reasons. It shows usual signs of wear for an instrument that is almost 100 years old. Wear to the finish, minor dings and scratches but solid, no cracks or repairs. Frets are good and everything is original except the case. The pick guard is missing, I lost it somewhere along the way. There are two very small screw holes, one was for the pick guard and the other was for a strap button. It's a great sounding, solid mandolin that deserves to be played more.
