Moonstone Vulcan Deluxe 1979 - Natural

Up for sale we have a 1979 Moonstone Vulcan Deluxe in Natural finish with original Moonstone hardshell case. The guitar is in excellent used condition showing very little cosmetic wear, a handful of small surface dings around the body but aside from that it's been a very well cared for instrument. Replacement Bone nut, newer Grover tuners and new bridge studs. Aside from that all parts original to the guitar to the best of our knowledge. This Vulcan Deluxe features a 25 1/2" scale length, solid Spalted Maple body with double cutaways, active electronics, equipped with a pair of Bartolini pickups (an ES-1 in the bridge position and a Beast II in the neck position), Master volume, Vol/Tone controls for each pickup, 3-way pickup selector switch (Bridge/Bridge+Neck/Neck), 3-way Pre-amp Gain Switch (High Gain Boost/Off/Low Gain Boost), Varitone 5-way Rotary switch (1. High Output 2. High Clarity 3. 1/3 Out of Phase 4. 2/3 Out of Phase 5. Fully Out of Phase), Stop tailpiece "Harmonics" bridge with 6 adjustable saddles and Grover Tuners. The neck is a 5-piece laminate of Birdseye Maple and Padauk with book matched Walnut headstock, flat "C" shape profile measuring .760" deep at the first fret and .850" deep at the twelfth fret, replacement Bone nut, 24-fret Ebony fingerboard with 16" radius, Abalone diamond and star inlaid fret markers and medium jumbo frets. The frets show only light play wear and have tons of life left. The neck is nice and straight and plays great up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or buzzing. Patented "Honey Comb" style truss rod, functions as it should. The guitar weighs in at 9 lbs. 5 oz. Will be properly packed with care prior to shipment. In-store trades only. Thanks for looking.
