Reeves Custom 12 PS Guitar Amplifer Head w/2x12 Cabinet - Used
The Reeves Custom 12 PS is a hand-wired, USA-made amplifier employing one 12AX7 and two EL84 output tubes configured in parallel single-ended mode. The PS stands for Power Scaling, which is a proprietary technology London Power developed to allow the maximum power of an amplifier to be dialed down to whatever level you need. This allows the power output stage to be variable from full volume all the way down to bedroom levels while still achieving break-up effects. Other Reeves Custom 12 PS highlights include Heyboer transformer, turret board construction, and variable 4/8/16 ohm output options.
Amp head has a single rip in the black tolex, on the front top left corner. The cab has one Reeves Vintage Purple speaker, modeled after the Fane speakers used by Hiwatt in the '70's, and the second speaker has been replaced with a different, unmarked Fane speaker.
