Asher GT3 2017 - Icelandic Blue
Up for grabs is a beautiful Asher GT3 in Icelandic Blue.
Build details can be seen on the included info card (pictured), but of particular note is the toggle switch below the tone knob. Rather than the varitone switch that is sometimes seen on this and other Asher models, this switch simply adds in the neck pickup to whatever pickup combination is engaged via the standard 5-way switch. Very cool feature that I’ve not seen before, but seems intuitively more useful than a varitone.
The pickguard was recently swapped in by Bill Asher himself; I had initially received the guitar from its previous owner with a cracked pickguard. This new one is rock solid and the gold really compliments the blue beautifully.
