The Alessandro Italian Greyhound is a unique tube amplifier specifically voiced for arch top jazz guitars. 60 watts from a pair of 6550’s delivers lots of warm, "woody" clean headroom and a big round tone.
This has a Scholz Classic (aka "Sugar Cone") 12" speaker. This 100 watt speaker has a huge sound across the entire frequency spectrum that's best described as a much warmer sounding Electo-Voice (EVM). It's a perfect match for this amp. (Do a search on this speaker if you're not familiar.)
This combo features a gorgeous ebony stained cabinet. It's in great condition with a few light nicks and scuffs (shown in two pictures), which are unavoidable on any natural hard wood cabinet.
This amp is extremely transparent, but not in a typically sterile way, it adds a beautiful warmth and retains the arch top’s signature woody quality. A perfect combo for the gigging Jazz guitarist who wants a full, warm and accurate tube tone!
This amp has a great sounding reverb with a control located on the back of the amp.
This amp comes with a padded slip cover with a side pocket for cables.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions about this great amp!
