I’m selling my absolute lovely 2016 Model F Santa Cruz Guitar. I bought it 2020 second hand from Sound Pure. Before I bought it, it has belonged to a known Sound Pure customer, who treated it very well. It was like new, when I purchased it. Condition is still excellent/mint (except a little discoloration). I have played the Guitar very carefully and only at home. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to play it regularly – and it is a shame to keep a wonderful instrument like this stored at home.

This German Spruce & (very beautiful) Cocobolo F-model is half Stradavarius, half Swiss-army knife. It masters all kind of music and styles.

It loves picks. The German top masterfully translates the slightest stroke into a full even vibration that rushes to gather overtones from the dark and lush Cocobolo back and sides.

As a fingerstyle instrument, it's a monster

The bass is balanced, but it can still stir your core.

The sustain is endless.

This guitar is strong, capable, and stunning.

Even when you're just strumming a tune on the couch, you may float right on out the window ;)

It is the guitar displayed in the video on the Santa Cruz hompage, to describe the Model F. You find it in the Model F section of the SCGC homepage or in the link below.

The gitar is in excellent condition except a little discoloration on the lower front side (see picture). According to Santa Cruz this can happen from time to time, but does no harm at all. The wood is still in perfect condition and it is nothing structural – it’s only cosmetic.

I’ve asked Santa Cruz about the price and it would cost today $ 10'025.

I hope this stunning guitar finds a loving new home and will be played and appreciated like it should be.

From the SCGC homepage:

Some SCGC models are designed for specific genres like bluegrass, fingerstyle or rhythm. The F Model’s intent is versatility. Recording, performing and composing with picks or nails on the same instrument is a necessity for many of us. When your repertoire also demands full dynamics from subtle to bold, you needn’t settle nor compromise on your presentation if you have the proper tool. Our ability to control the EQ of the F is the secret to avoiding boominess, while maintaining impressive acoustic volume and giving an articulate voice to fingerstyle playing and open tunings. The F Model is a favorite of performing songwriters. Its classic shape and design make it a popular choice for 12 string, cutaway, custom finish and inlay options.
