Here is a jazz era Art Deco National Valco (Chicago 51) guitar amp from the early 1940s. It's 8-15 watts and original. It has been re-tubed and had a vintage 12" Jensen speaker from a Hammond M3 added which sounds marvelous. All of the original design touches such as the National badge, bakelite handle and knobs, leather wrap amd grill-clothe are in remarkable condition.

It has come out of a museum worthy collection with climate control and regular attention. All testing has been performed correctly and with a variac controlling the voltage input. This is no delicate flower - this amp roars and is our current favourite. It has been played daily for the last few weeks. It's 8-10 watts and is loud! I mean keep up with a drummer loud. The sound is deep and robust thanks to it's big Hammond M3 speaker. Everything functions as it should without any hum or scratchiness. It's a jazz era piece of art deco design that you can slam a fuzz into.

The original back-plate and speaker are included in the sale (not shown).

Video of this amp being played is available upon request. Serious enquiries please.
