What a great guitar this Tele is. It has a Chambered Alder body with a Malaysian Blackwood Top. As you can see the guitar was used and has alot of lacquer chips in the paint on the back of the body and some buckle rash. The top has light scratching by the bridge which could most likely be buffed out.

The Pickups and electronics are all original and work and sound great. The tone knob has an S1 switch on it also from the factory so you can get plenty of tone from this guitar.

The Quarter sawn neck is a beautiful Birds eye maple example and has a compound radius.

The frets are in great shape and every note rings loud and clear

Gorgeous, great-sounding gloss lacquer finish

The Fender Select Telecaster HH wears a gorgeous gloss lacquer finish over its stunning Malaysian blackwood top. Lacquer finishes - standard back in the '60s and '70s - are significantly thinner than today's polyurethane finishes, allowing the guitar to "breathe." Lacquer finishes not only look vintage-y wonderful; they also enhance the instrument's tonal qualities.

Quartersawn neck provides rock-solid stability

The neck is one of the most important aspects of any instrument, which is why the Fender Select Telecaster HH features a quartersawn maple neck. Besides looking good, the straight grain of quartersawn necks is about 50% more stable than plain-sawn necks, and less likely to warp, twist or shrink. You'll also love the playability and feel of the Select Tele HH's contoured heel when you're playing higher up the fretboard.
