Incredible take on a classic Jazzmaster. This guitar is made in Japan by the highly regarded PGM workshop who also build Moon and K.Nyui brands, and is equipped with Texas made VanZandt pickups.
If you haven’t played one before, VanZandt guitars are some of the finest fender type instruments coming out of Japan, easily at CS level craftsmanship and materials. I’ve been blown away at the quality (and affordability) of these. There’s a few things that make them special: They source the finest woods; they take the time to match the body and neck to enhance tone; and lastly the nitro lacquer is extremely thin.
The JMV model is pretty hard to come by, I had to shop round for few months for this beaut. I’m sad to let her go, but the music I’m playing has changed direction so I need to switch things up. She’s in great condition, the neck is flawless. There are a few small nicks around the body you can see in the pictures.
Comes with the really nice padded gigbag they ship with.
