Here is a rare gem from the late 60’s that does not disappoint in the tone department. Like, holy crap. It’s got a seriously unique voice with great sustain and sparkle. Just magic.

The guitar is setup really nicely with low action around 2.5mm, proper relief in the neck, and good intonation (as good as a 12 string gets anyway). It plays really easily compared to other 12 strings. There’s also still room on the adjustable saddle to lower the action further if you ever need to, so it will not need a neck reset like a lot of guitars this old do. Functionally it is ready to go and plays and sounds superb. There are two professionally repaired top cracks- one on the left shoulder, and one by the soundhole. The sound hole one is cleated since this is a structural area. The work is solid and doesn’t affect the playability or sound.

You can find sold listings of these up into the $2,000’s and you’d be hard pressed to find any active listings for under $2,000 right now.. in fact most asking prices are in the $3,000’s! I have priced the guitar about $500-$1000 below what I believe to be the average used market value, because there is something wonky with the truss rod. As you can see in the last picture, the threaded portion of the truss rod sticks out farther out than usual. There aren’t many hex wrenches that have a deep enough cavity to reach all the way to the nut. This leads me to believe that the truss rod will need some work or to be replaced. However, like I said previously… the neck and setup are actually quite perfect and it has been stable for a very long time, so I’m not really sure what’s up. But just wanted to give full transparency and leave room in the price for a truss rod replacement if it ever came to that. I keep the guitar in Eb tuning (like I do with every 12 string) to avoid over tensioning the neck for long periods of time.

There is no case included and the guitar will be double boxed and very securely packed. I take pride in my guitar packing and it will be very solid. Thanks for looking!
