Features
Both channels share both tubes.
Red light = Bassman channel. VoI1 and Master A are active.
Red + Green lights = JTM45 channel. VoI2 and Master B are active.

The bright switch:
Left = off for both channels
Middle = on for both channels
Right = on for Bassman and on for JTM45 also, but uses a larger size bright cap for the JTM45, giving more upper mid response.

The right knob on the rear of the chassis globally controls the overall gain and low end response of the circuit.
The right footswitch toggles the pedal on/off, while the left toggles between the Bassman and JTM sides.
The EQ is shared between the two sides.

Here is the way it works:
- Vol 1 and Master A are for the Bassman channel;
- Vol 2 and Master B are for the JTM45 channel;
- the "Output" switch works just the same as on the regular Constable:
• to the left = attenuated/front of amp;
• middle = attenuated preamp mode;
• right = un-attenuated preamp mode.

There is an extra Volume control on the back. This is the bass channel or Ch2 on a Bassman or JTM45 amp. Note that this channel is always on - just turn it up to hear it/down to turn it off.
It is very bass heavy, which is how the amps are. At first it may seem too bassy to be useful, but here is how I found it useful:
The preamp is pretty bass heavy overall (like the amps), so it tends to sound best with the Bass control set low.
Turn the Bass off and it is nice and tight/clear.
Now the sound may be a bit thin... so this is where you turn up the Bass Volume pot channel on the back of the pedal it adds fatness/fullness in a way that is clearer sounding than turning up the actual bass control.
I really like it with both Bright switches on, as it is a pretty bass heavy preamp anyway. Then set the Bassman channel up for a clean tone (or edge of breakup) and dial in the JTM45 channel for a little more aggression... sounds great.
