1985 MIJ Fresher SS-38, Chushin Gakki, Old School Charvel Alternative, Gig Bag

Made by Chushin Gakki in 1985 just before the factory switched to exclusive production of the Charvel Model series, this is a fantastic value for money guitar in the style of the Charvel from the early 80's. Old school style rock strat with a hefty made in Japan trem that has nice chunky brass saddles and a big block, with quite a nice mass to it. Solid brass knobs with a beautiful patina. All original. Alder body.

Slick all-black look with ivory binding, painted neck, vintage style Deluxe tuners. Slick gold foil headstock logo.

Great condition with some surface swirls and superficial scratches. One scratch on the front horn, smooth to the touch.

The guitar is strung with a fresh set of 9-42 Pyramid (you might have to stretch them a bit still, once you bring them back to tension). Depending on your favorite string gauge and action height, local climate, etc, you will have to fine tune the set up to your personal taste.

Trem arm and vintage vinyl gig bag are included.
