About This Listing
A 12-string guitar model of the popular small B-25 model is now in stock. It has a rectangular bridge, tailpiece bridge, screw-down pickguard, 3-piece mahogany neck, nickel bushings on the pegs, and the serial number suggests that it was made in 1969. The nut width of the neck is about 51.5mm with a firm, meaty grip, and the string height can be adjusted with a wood saddle, making it easy to set up the guitar the way you like it. The sound produced by the tailpiece style and wood saddle has a woody tone characteristic of this period. The sound is soft, loose, and muddy in a good sense.
Because of its age, there are scratches and dents (some of them reach to the wood) and deep weather checks all over. You can feel the weather checks when you touch it and you can see the vintage look from a distance. There was a crack on the top sound hole and the 6th string fingerboard, which has been repaired by gluing and patch repair. The neck has been ironed out but is slightly bent at the waist. The low frets are dented in places, but there is no significant chattering at present. There is no big bulge on the top, and the string height is set low while keeping the adjustable saddle height. The pegs are not very stiff and have some uneven play, but these are vintage parts, so we hope you can accept this.
