Here we have a rare 1970s El Dégas model 218 acoustic guitar. These are well-made guitars and are hard to find. This was manufactured in Japan and modeled after the Martin D-28. These guitars were made by made by Fuji Gen Gakki and sold through the Buegeleisen and Jacobson distribution company in New York. This guitar was made right around the time they closed their doors.
The guitar is in good condition with some signs of use. The action low and comfortable to play up and down the neck. The body has very minimal wear for the age, just a few scratches, but other than that is in excellent shape. Nice vintage Gotoh tuners that work and look great.
