Crafted to Flea's Specifications
Just like Flea's actual bass, the alder body of the Flea Jazz Bass comes dressed in an authentic-style nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Shell Pink (one of Fender's rarest custom color finishes) that's been faded and road worn to reflect the actual finish shade and play wear of Flea's own bass. The Flea Jazz Bass comes complete with a 3-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and nickel/chrome hardware—including a special engraved neck plate featuring Flea's own artwork, a vintage-style 4-saddle bridge, Fender vintage-style tuners and knurled chrome/black concentric knobs.

This bass may look vintage and a little beat up, but like Flea, this thing can play. The period-correct "C" shaped maple neck also wears a road worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish to provide a genuine old-school, well-played vintage feel and look. Holding true to the original, the rosewood 'board features a vintage-spec 7.25" radius, 20 vintage-style frets, and aged white dot inlays. With the classic comfort contours of the Jazz Bass body, you can slap this bass like it's the last show of the tour.
