"Here is an upgraded Valiant Solid body. It's got a very interesting Curly Redwood top with three distinct types of figure all in one - heavy curl, burl, and what looks like the wake behind a ship on the ocean - most unusual! The body and neck are both White Limba, and the neck has hard Maple laminates. The fingerboard is a highly figured piece of Cocobolo. The whole guitar is bound in black and white celluloid with Abalone trim.
I've used Sperzel Solid Pro tuners, a TonePros AVT2 bridge and a set of Wolfetone humbuckers - a Dr. Vintage at the neck position and a Marshallhead at the bridge. The pickups run through two volume and two tones with push/pull controls on both tones to switch the pickups to single coil. The guitar is finished in clear acrylic urethane with a slight vintage tint added to the back." - Roger Giffin
