If you're looking to get into vintage tech, or always wanted an iPod, this is a great deal. iPod is in working condition. Has some scuffs and swirls on the front and back. There is an obvious scratch under the play/pause, if you run your finger on it, it is smooth. Not a crack. More of a scratch. That's my definition. At any rate, it's just cosmetic as the ipod is functional. This is why I am offering it for less. Please look at the pics to see what i mean. Click wheel functions as it should. New battery(1050mah) has been carefully installed. Hard drive is in good health. The smart data screen shows 0 reallocations and 0 pending sectors. It is generally accepted that if these numbers are under 20, the HDD is in good shape. The number of retracts is not as relevant. That is all anyone has to gauge the health of the iPod, because no one knows exactly when a hard drive gives up. So I offer this in good faith knowing that it has not been dropped or submerged in liquid, has been tested and the numbers show a healthy drive. Shipping in the U.S. only.
