This Schecter Diamond Bass bridge gives you the stability you need plus a massive range of intonation. Also a nice surprise, the sealed and permanently lubricated tuning machines on the Schecter Omen Extreme-4 let you stay in tune like a pro.
As with any bass guitar, the choice of tonewoods Schecter used has a huge impact on both the sound and feel of the Omen Extreme-4. To keep this not-insubstantial instrument light enough to play for hours yet resonant enough for metal, Schecter selected mahogany and flame maple for the body and maple for the neck. This combination gives the Omen Extreme-4 plenty of bite, without limiting the low-end impact you can expect from this bass. Add to that a naturally conditioned rosewood fingerboard, and you've got killer sound and feel.
