This listing is for a vintage 1960's Guyatone Model LG-70 electric guitar project.
This guitar has lots of promise as most there & reasonably clean for it's age. Some rough areas to back edge of body and some scuffs & nicks to back of neck. There is a dent on and at the far end of the headstock. The fretboard is really nice and frets have only minor wear.
Most of the tuner knob shafts are bent, so will need replacing. The bridge is not original, but works ok.
The pickups are original, work great and have the following DC resistance:
Bridge: 3.85
Neck: 3.83
The guitar will need the lower raised pickguard with control assembly.
The nut will need to be replaced as string slots worn down quite a bit. I put in a temporary shim under it to make sure it will set up nicely with new nut.
Action sets up low with no buzz. The neck feels amazingly good for being an old Japanese "pawnshop" type guitar (like Teisco, etc.).
This model is pretty hard to come by and was also sold/branded as an Ibanez Jet King back in the day, so if you have that guitar, the parts are interchangeable.
Sold AS-IS with no returns due to being an older project guitar, but is described honestly.
No case, but will be well packed. Shipping to the US Lower 48 only is $60.00
