Here we have an almost untouched 100% original 1958 Kay K1700 Barney Kessel Pro model. This is the smallest-bodied version in the Kay Kessel family & she comes complete with their coolest oversized kitchenette style Kelvinator headstock w/a matching Silver Art Deco Pickgard. It’s sporting a set of bad ass “Kleenex Box” pickups (similar characteristic to P-90s), a bound & block inlaid fingerboard & a set of nickel plated Waverley butterbean tuners. This far-out design looks both futuristic, yet nostalgic to the time period. An all-original Kay Barney Kessel Pro in this shape is not seen very often, it’s great for any serious collector. The tone of the pickups are killer, players will absolutely love this guitar. What a package deal & this Kessel comes w/its original factory Hang Tag & leather strap all in its ultra rare Dark Brown Gator hardshell case.
