1968 GIBSON MELODY MAKER BASS – PELHAM BLUE
We present an all original and 100 % complete Gibson Melody Maker Bass – Pelham Blue. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This stunning Gibson solid-body bass is in very good+ condition with minor dings and other cosmetic wear. No breaks or any repairs.! The bass is in custom color Pelham Blue, which has turned slightly more green over the years, with beautiful finish checkings.
It features a lightweight mahogany body and neck with dark rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. The original frets still has a lot of life left in them. This short-scale Gibson has a great humbucker pickup, that sounds remarkably warm, strong and a punchy tone that stands out in any mix, and truly sounds like no other bass. Comes with chrome hardware. Just an overall stunning bass with great playability.
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Even comes complete with its original chipboard case. It's rough. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
