I have a 2022 PRS Silver Sky here with it's case and factory goodies.

Note that this guitar has been upgraded with new active EMG single coil pickups. I do not have the originals. I think these are the SA set. They have a traditional Strat sound but a bit fatter/thicker. These have been popularized by Steve Lukather and David Gilmour from Pink Floyd. They are "silent" in terms of backround hum. And just make for a Bigger Strat sound but still have the prominent extended top end sparkle that Strat pickups are known for.

Conditionally this one is pretty much immaculate.

The silver sky is an excellent condition. I will describe what I see here. The body top shows patterns of pick strumming on the plastic pickguard. There is a few superficial scuff like small marks near the input jack on the body top. Any other surface swirling will be absolutely minimal on the guitar top itself. There are no other form patterns of play where other than on the pickguard.

The body side/edges and the body back look the same. I'm seeing a nearly immaculate glossy surface with no marks to describe. And no pattern playwear. Super clean. There is no buckle rash or worming and no neck pocket cracks.

Likewise the neck looks excellent. I did not find anything to single out here and the frets show no fret where and the setup plays factory perfect. And the electronics are working perfectly like they should.
So this one rates conservatively a 9.4/10 and grades as excellent. I found a small patch about a quarter inch squared of a little bit of surface scuffing near the input jack and playwear on the plastic pickguard. Beyond that the guitar looks the higher most side of excellent throughout.

Tonally from a players perspective. I would say the Silver Sky sounds like a very good Strat. Comparable to a Fender Vintage Reissue Strat or John's previous signature model. It has the craftsmanship that PRS is known for in spades. The Silver Sky goes into the territory of a vintage era Fender tone with perhaps just a little more power and output in the pickups then those vintage Fender Custom shop pickups. It definitely nails that sound and is closer to a vintage Fender than anything PRS has ever made previously.

So these have been very popular guitars and are well received for what PRS and John created here. Where they are unique i would say is in the PRS styling. The finish, the body shape, the overall feel and aesthetic has that PRS flair to it.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.
