Waterloo WL-JK Jumbo King

This is a single-owner guitar in excellent condition that's always been stored in the original case in a properly humidified home. It shows light play wear and a few very minor dings upon close inspection in the right light. The guitar is all original and has never had any repairs or modifications; the strap button on the heel and the K&K Pure Mini were both installed by Collings when it was new. It also has the standard "full size" vintage V neck.

This guitar was chosen from a batch of several of the same exact model, as it was the most resonant, powerful, responsive, and balanced of the bunch. I have played many of these over the years and this is the one I'd keep if I didn't have a dream custom build in the works. It is also the original version with the Jumbo King graphic/crown on the peghead and the original pickguard shape, all of which Collings no longer offers (if you can even find a new Waterloo these days, as production is very low).

If you are a collector seeking a mint-condition guitar, this is not it.  If you are a player - casual or professional - seeking a phenomenal sounding Waterloo in great condition, one that was played enough to open up but still lovingly cared for and maintained, you will have a hard time finding a better example.  And the factory-installed K&K Pure Mini and strap button mean it's gig-ready, if that's your thing.
