You are viewing the actual guitar that was showcased at a Taylor Guitars Custom Event.  This event has been coined as the Taylor Custom Catch Guitar Event.  Every year, Taylor Guitars showcases a selection of Custom built guitars that feature options you cannot get from their standard custom shop options.  This provides a truly custom experience.  These options include unique tonewoods, inlays, bridge pins, rosette designs, and custom tuning buttons.  

This guitar is built on the chassis of a Grand Symphony guitar and is the latest version from the workshop of Taylor Guitars' master luthier, Andy Powers featuring V-class bracing and the unique soundport cutaway.  V-Class is known to give the guitar more volume and sustain, but also play more in tune. The soundport cutaway is there to disperse the sound of the guitar three-dimensionally throughout the room you are in.  It's truly a phenomenon you need to hear! Don't forget that this guitar also has a comfortable 24 7/8" scale length, slightly shorter than the standard scale for Taylor Guitars.

 The tonewoods on this custom feature beautiful Honduran Rosewood back and sides and a Lutz Spruce top.
