Yukinobu Chachi opened his workshop in Machida in 1955.
After his death in 2011, his son Yukihiro Chachi has taken over the workshop.
His brother, Yukio Chachi, and nephew, Yukihide Chachi (son of Yukio), are also guitar makers.
The top is made of spruce and the sides and back are made of rosewood.
Although the body is small, the volume of the bass and the sustain in all registers are very high quality.
The quality of the construction is such that it can be said to be made in Japan.
It has a classy sound that matches not only classical music, but also bossa nova and jazz.

There are some scratches and scuffs due to use.
