About This Listing

Stooges: 8hp triple jerk chaos circuit. Built by me, fully tested and working as expected. Unit is in excellent condition and has been used only in a non-smoking home studio and racked with washers, so no rack rash.

3 separate jerk chaos circuits running at different speeds. One input and three outputs per circuit. I built this unit using the standard values suggested by NLC. The first circuit is pretty fast (not quite audio rate but close), the second circuit a bit a slower and the third a bit slower than that. Very fun modulator. Great accompaniment for Sloths as it's a similar sort of chaos but much faster and with more control. Matte black PCB panel, green LED's and black Davies 1900h clone knobs. Comes with power bus cable and M3 mounting screws.

From the NLC website:
"This module contains three individual jerk chaos circuits. They can be built to run at different frequencies and are quite responsive to incoming gates and CVs, not necessarily in terms of frequency, more making the outputs sync or change in response to the incoming signal.

Jerk chaos is, as the name implies, somewhat more violent than the smooth behaviour of the Sloth circuits, it can be used as a bouncing ball simulator, with a large spike/bounce to start then gradually smaller bounces after that."

Please note, anything purchased on a Friday will be shipped the following Monday.
