About This Listing

I am selling my favorite synth!

This is the TTSH, a faithful reproduction of the original ARP 2600 and was put together by Synthchaser who specializes in original ARP synth repairs. His meticulous build includes improvements to the TTSH (see below).

I am only selling because I have been fortunate enough to aquire an original 2600.

From Synthchaser.com

The following mods/upgrades are included:

  • 4012 Ladder Filter - The synthesizer is equipped with the 4012 Ladder Filter found in earlier 2600's, not the 4072 filter found in the later models.
  • Synthchaser custom linear power supply - The TTSH power supply design is just plain stupid, using 2 levels of switching power supplies and an external power brick that is bound to get lost. I've designed a custom linear power supply with a toroidal transformer for the TTSH. The case is fitted with an IEC inlet to accept a standard computer power cord, which is included.
  • AC Coupling of VCF inputs - To remove the "thump" commonly heard on 2600's
  • Gate Booster - Boosts the gate signal and generates a trigger signal for the TTSH so it will play well with your other gear.
  • No flashing LEDs - I've disabled the flashing of the single LED for the S&H Internal Clock rate for a classier look.
