This 2021 Fender American Professional II Stratocaster features an alder body with a 3-Color Sunburst finish, a maple neck with a Deep “C” profile, a bone nut, and Fender Standard die-cast tuners, a maple fretboard with a 9.5” radius, dot inlays, and 22 narrow tall frets, and this one comes equipped with Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickups swapped in for the originals.
American Professional II Stratocaster….. #6 solid body on Reverb and there is a reason why….. They’re fantastic. Says a ton about the quality meeting the budget. Smooth and comfortable neck, great playing and sounding.
This has an Ultra backplate, but is most definitely a Pro 2. Check the pics I’ve included and feel free to look up the S/N on Fender S/N lookup. It’s been simplified to one tone, one volume for more strumming real estate.
The condition is Good. Lots of obvious wear you can see the pics. Chips, dings, scuffs, scratches. There’s what I thought was a small part of a screw sticking out… but it doesn’t quite line up, so not sure what it is. The neck has been sanded down and the profile has been altered slightly for easier playing high up in the neck. Only in that area though.
Then there is the body cavity. Someone decided to make a swimming pool route…. Which…. Unless you’re going for an HHH…. Why?!?!?! HHH on a Stratocaster? Get outta here! With that said, the person who did was not very clearly not a professional. Unlike this guitar of course. Check pics. Cleaned up, frets polished, fretboard cleaned, new strings. GHS 10-46.
