"Exotic Camphor" Japanese timber from our warehouse

Camphor is a Japanese domestic wood known by the Japanese name "Kusu" (camphor). It is known to have been used in the old days for interior decoration of temples and shrines and as a material for ships because of its easy processing and strong material." Its wooden grain, named "exotic," has a unique flavor that differs from that of flamed or quilted wood.

"Hannoki" Body

As the English name "Common Alder" suggests, this is a type of Japanese wood that is particularly close to alder. It grows naturally in lowlands and wetlands throughout Japan. It is harder than common alder and shows its true value as a body material.

Wenge Fingerboard

Wenge is stronger than maple and has extremely hard characteristics. Wenge is used for the fingerboard to achieve a stable and clear sound. Because of its beautiful appearance, wenge has been used as a high-grade furniture material in Europe for a long time.

24-fret specification x HSH arrangement

Mojotone humbucker type is mounted on the front and rear positions. In order to add a modern flavor to the traditional humbucker, the bass is slightly emphasized and the sustain is adjusted to be longer. The coils are wound with a different number of turns between the two coils, resulting in a tight bottom end and rich sustain, with increased overtones and response in the upper registers.

In contrast, the center position features the company's "Classic" Strat®, which is designed for a clean sound with clear contours. While based on traditional specifications, the distance between the pole pieces in each position is precisely measured to achieve the optimum balance of sound quality and volume.
