First designed in 1959, the Coronet was Epiphone's take on the Les Paul Junior:
it shared its simple slab mahogany body, single P-90 and great sound.
But like some of Epiphone's models at the time, it looked strikingly different than its older sibling, some might even say it was a lot cooler!
With its classic symmetrical slim curved body and Cherry finish, faded to brown, this 1962 Coronet is a great example of this classic instrument’s second version. Fitted with an incredibly punchy P-90 Pick-Up, Kluson Strip Tuners, Wraparound Bridge, Black Reflectors Knobs and 3 Ply Pickguard, this guitar seriously has some mojo
It has become a long time favourite amongst Rock'n'Roll bands and has been used by Steve Marriott, Paul Weller, The Hives and Ace Frehley and this particular guitar was the staple of Guitarist Steve ‘Boltz’ Bolton whilst in the band Atomic Rooster ( () which can be seen being played by Steve, with the scretchplate removed, here on A Spoonful Of Bromide Helps The Pulse Rate Go Down - 1972 French TV
Please no ludicrous offers, I believe all of the guitars I have advertised are competitively priced to sell.
