~Smooth soaring sustain~
Those are the first 3 words that are written in the ad for the original pedal. It couldn't be more true!
I never was very good with words. So here is a description of the original pedal from their website.

Specifically tuned to the sound of a block-buster 1979 album (okay, it's "The Wall") and emulates the "magic" 70's era fuzz pedal that was somehow clear and articulate on high notes while still fuzzy and aggressive on low notes, without excessive low-end muffiness or high-end fizz. The mids are scooped just enough to keep it from sounding congested, the lows are rolled off just enough to keep it from sounding wooly or boomy, and the highs are gentle, present, and well balanced.
Its clarity will encourage you to dig in and express yourself; it's not an overwhelming "wall of fuzz" type effect.
A wide variety of aggressive and clear-sounding applications, particularly excelling in sustaining, biting, legato lead work

So there you have it. It truly is a spectacular fuzz pedal that is loads of fun to play with. If you never cared much for fuzz before, then this is a pedal that could change your mind. It'll make a believer outta you!
Built with nothing but high quality components: Neutrik jacks, Alpha pots, WIMA 5% film caps, Panasonic FC electrolytic caps, MLCC ceramic caps, socketed transistors, 1% metal film resistors and 22 gauge pretinned wiring.
There is some chipping of the paint around the toggle switch. But the pedal seems to be in great shape otherwise. Because of the chipping, I'm dropping the price a bit. But it's still free shipping!
This prototype is a steal! The next pedal will be marked up higher. The original sells for $200 after all. And used ones are very rare.
The pedal will ship in its own box.
