About This Listing

The Fender Dual Showman is an all-tube amplifier and is basically the head version of the Fender Twin Reverb. This particular model has 2 channels, clean and distortion. Output is 105 watts with a 25 watt low-power mode for home use or smaller gigs. Obviously, it also allows you to get some of that great power tube saturation at lower volume levels.

This amp is in good condition. I purchased it about 10 years ago, at which point it had just been re-tubed. I rarely used it. Since the re-tube it probably has had less than 10 hours of playing time on it.

This amp is unique in that it has a very glassy clean tone, yet it can also produce some very Marshall-like distorted tones, especially when cranked. It's almost like two amps in one: say, a JCM800 and a Twin Reverb shoved into a single amp.

Pair this with a Marshall 4x12 speaker cabinet for best results. In this combination, the clean sounds are like a Twin on steroids--in distortion, of course, it ROARS!
