This amp is in overall good condition. The electronics were just serviced and function properly and quietly. The amp was retrofitted with a grounded power cable for safe operation. The vinyl covering is has blemishes. The Gibson logo is missing for the amp and one knob is not original/matching. The grill cloth has some small snags and stains. The vinyl is lifting on a couple corners and is stained in a few places. There are snags and rips typical of most amps of this age. The control plate is patina'd and most of the screen printing is worn off. There is a label from a previous owner. Please reference the photos for physical condition, as they are part of the item description.
The Falcon got 15 watts out of two 6V6 tubes and a 12" speaker. The pre-amp is powered by three 6EU7 tubes, and a 7199 for the reverb circuit.
The Falcon's sound is described as "full, rich" and "sweet-sounding", with a "raw, gnarly, compressed tone" at higher volumes.
