Let's get the question of the headstock repair out of the way. We sold this bass on Reverb, VERY carefully we packed and shipped using a 50x8x20 275lb test heavy duty box and enough bubble wrap to go to the moon. The bass was in the orig hard Gibson case also properly packed and our good friends at UPS still managed to break it. The headstock break did not go thru, the headstock was not off. It was a clean 'green sprig' break that went under the volute area (if there was a factory volute) and a little up bass side of the headstock. It did not affect the tuner areas. It did not affect the neck or the nut areas. Our master luthier, Matt Brewster at 30th St Guitars personally did the repair, and gave the bass a clean, no worries bill of health. There is no paint work or overspray. The repair is expertly closed, it is not ugly, you cannot feel it and it is very stable. We waited 90 days with the neck under tension to make sure everything was stable before we reposted it. I also included shots of the heal to show there was no / -0- damage there. The bass plays really well, looks and sounds great. We photo'ed the heck out of it both in regular and black light. There's nothing hidden and nothing to hide. It was mild and pro repaired.

Below is the original ad and still holds true. We sold the bass initially for 1879.00 and have it heavily discounted so we can close this chapter and eat our loss. Our loss is your gain. If the bass did not have the repair, easily, it is excellent condition.

Please note - Unlike other 'dealers' (we are licensed dealers) this bass has an approval period and Reverb Protection applies.

This is a really nice bass set up to absolute perfection. 8lb. 15oz of clean bass showing mild wear and simple patina.  Its in terrific shape for a 14 year old bass.  Killer tone and playability.  This one we really like.  Has the OHSC and tags.

We're pros at KBW. We stand behind every item we sell. Nothing is ever a final sale especially since you worked hard for your money. We buy so much misdescribed junk its not even funny and we promise a peace of mind experience. Thank you for your consideration.
