Quick notes:

1 — This is consigned.

2 — Any repair work has been done so it plays spot-on unless otherwise noted!

3 — I usually ship in 2-3 days but sometimes can get backed-up if a lot of orders come in at once. I like to make sure I have time to check the setup, restring if the strings are tired, and make any adjustments needed before shipping. If you need faster shipping, please make me aware!

4 — Please read the following text for full details and specs -- it's borrowed from my original blog post on it...

This strange instrument came our way via consignment. It has a bogus label (done in ballpoint pen) in the bass f-hole that says it's a French Vuillaime-made instrument. This is clearly not 100+ years old when you get looking at it closely -- it looks like a newer, decent-grade, import violin -- probably Chinese or Korean? The finish has been "antiqued" when it was made, however, just like factories that produce violins have been doing since time immemorial. It's just funny to me to see a newer one using the techniques of 1900s-era factory fiddles.

Anyhow, it has a good sound, a good feel, and good fittings. I have no idea of the maker or the provenance but I would guess it's between 10 and 20 years old.

Repairs included: minor cleaning, bridge work, soundpost work, setup.

Condition notes: it looks like an old fiddle at a glance, but when you look more closely you can tell it's a newer instrument (quite clean inside) with an antiqued finish and a completely (and hilariously) bogus Vuillaume label inside. So -- it has a new, varnish finish, but with an older look. It's a "relic" finish, so to speak.

It comes with: a case.
