About This Listing

This is the EART Explorer-1. It’s a mostly-Strat-style body with some unique contouring that makes it incredibly comfy to play. It’s slightly on the heavier side but feels ridiculously solid and high-quality. It came stock with the bridge, nut, and electronics - I also replaced the tuners with Tone Ninja locking tuners, and the pickups with a Seymour Duncan Blackened Black Winter set. It stays in tune like crazy with these tuners and the hardtail bridge. The pickups are very hot and bright, excellent for a screaming metal or rock sound. Sounds great both with the tone opened up and rolled back to give it some growl. Controls are volume, tone, and a 3-way switch. The 24 stainless steel frets are the smoothest I’ve ever felt, they’re like glass and the rounded ball ends make the neck very smooth to glide up and down with no sharp edges whatsoever. The whole guitar is absolutely stunning - the open-pore finish on the body gives it a very natural look, and the neck/fretboard combo is one of the most beautiful I‘ve ever seen. An absolute player of a guitar.

I set up this guitar with a set of Stringjoy 10-52 strings and low action with minimal buzz. These pickups will handle low tunings (drop C, C standard, drop B) with ease. Everything functions perfectly, no crackly pots or electronics. The only wear on the guitar is up at the very top of the headstock where there is a chip taken out, and that was actually damaged while being shipped to me. I’ve taken great care of this guitar and it’s been fantastic to me.

This is a steal for this price. These guitars are $599 direct from EART, plus I added a $200 set of pickups and a $50 set of locking tuners, and it’s already set up to play with relatively new Stringjoy strings.

This is by far one of the best guitars I’ve ever owned. Only reason I’m selling is that I just don’t play it that much anymore and I’m thinning out my collection. Ridiculous bang-for-buck here, you won’t find much better value than in one of these guitars. Feel free to message with any questions.
