About This Listing

The PGM800 is a solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez for 1996. It is a signature model of American guitarist Paul Gilbert.

The PGM800 features an ash body decorated with Gilbert's signature painted F-holes bolted to a maple Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers and a reversed headstock. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of The Tone Zone humbuckers flanking a JEM single-coil, a Gotoh GTC101 hard-tail bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.

The look of the PGM800 is based on a custom guitar Ibanez built for Paul Gilbert. That guitar had pieces of plywood glued to the top and back and was also clear coated.

The PGM800 was discontinued after 1999.

Made for Japanese market only!

Signed by Paul Gilbert.

DiMarzio strap and original case is included.
