About This Listing

The PGM300RE is a PGM series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2009. It is a signature model of American guitarist Paul Gilbert and a reissue of the classic PGM300 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the PGM series.

The PGM300 was the second PGM model to be reissued in 2009, after the PGM100RE. The PGM300 reissue was chosen by popular vote on the Ibanez website.

The PGM300RE features a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut Super Wizard neck with a reversed headstock and a 24-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, DiMarzio pickups with a pair of PAF Pro humbuckers flanking an FS-1 single coil, a single volume control camouflaged with Paul Gilbert's signature painted F-holes and Gotoh tuning machines.

The multi-species laminated neck is the one significant departure from the original PGM300 which had a single piece maple neck.

The PGM300RE was produced only in 2009.

The guitar has some scratches on the finish you can see it on the photos.

Anniversary plate is missing. Original case is included.
