Weissenborn Style 2 1927

Nothing sounds like an original Weissenborn. It's mesmerizing. This is a Style 2, an unusual and very elegant style with the cutaway at the end of the fingerboard and the black binding at the edge of the body. The instrument is sound and in good condition. No split. The binding has been glued back together in places and we will notice a few varnish marks on the back, that's all. A new nut has been installed. We have the aluminum saddle on the bridge. The stamp of the exclusive distributor of the east coast Henry Stadlmair is present as well as the Weissenborn iron mark. The guitar has this very distinctive voice and this sustain so characteristic of Hermann Weissenborn's koa instruments. Comes in an old case that fits well.
