About This Listing

For your consideration, here is my Martin 00-17 from 1956. This guitar has been well loved and played over the years. There have been crack repairs on the top, back, and sides that have been sealed. Also, the finish was worn down to bare wood from playing in some spots. This has been touched up with shellac to prevent any damage/cracks, while still preserving the well worn look and history of the guitar. Evidence of other finish touchups/overspray throughout. A strap button was installed at the end of the neck. This guitar had a neck reset and refret some time ago, it is in perfect playing condition with low action and a perfectly played in neck. At 68 years old, it plays better than most brand new guitars with an undeniable vintage tone. The perfect guitar for accompaniment for singing, fingerstyle, and strumming. A perfect recording guitar as well. It will ship in a non-original hard case. Please ask all questions before buying, no returns.
