This is a Chris Jenkins‘s guitar from Texas, that he playfully calls the Saddle Pal. This model features a small, but deep, body, 38.5” in length, that offers up a throaty growl and a voice bigger than it's size. The neck is fully adjustable, also under tension, so as you travel you can be guaranteed to have great action. The neck is also laminated for added stability.
This particular Saddle Pal raises the bar with it's Madagascar Rosewood and Redwood body, Maple neck and trim and incredible details including the elaborate head-plate and abalone border on the fingerboard and top. The top itself is gorgeous Redwood with a Quilted Maple shoulder where the sound ports reside, in addition there are two ports on the driver's side for a full voice to the player.
This is a cool little guitar. The deeper body gives it more bass than you might expect, and the "dial-in" action feature makes it easy to get exactly the action that makes each individual happy.
The guitar is also designed to be easily electrified. As usual in the Saddle Pal model, there is always a small lucky charm in the form of animal, glued inside the guitar body. In this guitar you will find a small bear and it can be seen through the sound hole.
This would be a fun guitar to travel with but also to be played on stage.
The guitar is in excellent condition for its age and shows only normal sign or correct use. It comes with the original HSC.
