Here for sale we have a Sigma OMTC-1E in Polished Gloss Sunburst finish. Made in China in 2022, this guitar features a dovetail construction comprising a solid Sitka Spruce top, Tilia back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Micarta fingerboard and matching bridge. This guitar is fitted with a Bone saddle & nut, as well as Chrome Sigma sealed tuning machines.  An undersaddle piezo pickup is featured, and is wired to a shoulder mounted Fishman Presys II preamp with controls for master volume, bass, treble, phase reverse and an on-board tuner. 

The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Low Profile neck carve filling the hand nicely and offering a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Satin finish to the rear is pleasant to the touch and assists with smooth transitions up and down the neck, whilst the Micarta fretboard provides a durable playing surface under the fingers. It's 16" radius is traditional for a guitar of this style and ensures that chord playing, lead lines and fingerstyle techniques are all equally practical and easy. 

The voice of the Sigma OMTC-1E-SB is clear and well defined, delivering a rich low end, smooth mid range and sparkling trebles that beautifully colour every note played on the instrument. The 000 body size is well known for it's balance and clarity, and ensures that both strumming and fingerpicking techniques sound rich and warm whilst still retaining the brightness to cut nicely through the mix. The Fishman Presys II preamp accurately captures the voice of the instrument, adding the versatility for both live and recording situations.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Very light scratching to the front and rear face is visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the top of the front face. Light scuffing is present on the top edge. 

Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard present minimal signs of past use. 

Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching to all surfaces of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most noticeable to the treble side waist of the front face, consistent with light playwear.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional and can be adjusted. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear.
