Iove this guitar was my main for a while but unfortunately due to family matters I’m selling my 59 custom shop cme spec ! it has a Carmelita neck so neck isn’t as chunky more of a 60’s feel! lovely slow iced tea fade! pickups sound so good especially neck pickup! Keeps in tune great!
****I bought this les Paul second hand on reverb this guitar was going for 7k+tax on CME website had it checked for authenticity. the original owner had it for a great price I couldn’t pass it up but when I revived it the neck finish started bleeding on the neck binding which bummed me out a bit but for the price It honestly didn’t matter to me bc the guitar felt and sounded great to me and loved the look of the finish!! I read a lot of forums that this bleed is common bc Gibson is using the same stuff they did back in 59.
