About This Listing

This is a 1965 Fender Mustang in Dakota red finish.  The finish has lots of nicks/dings/scratches/wear and finish checking for a nice vintage relic look/feel.  The neck finish has worn off the back of the neck and it feels fantastic.  This is the full length 24" scale version.  Guitar has a recent refret and new bone nut and the pickups have been changed but otherwise all the hardware and pots/switches look to be original.  The frets are in excellent shape and it plays cleanly up and down the neck with nice action and no buzzes or issues.  The pickups sound great and the controls work as they should.  It has as red Lace Sensor in the neck and a Select by EMG pickup in the bridge position.  It comes in the original hardshell case.  The top of the case looks like it was painted years ago and the latches are all broken but with some new latches it would be solid enough to use. Please let me know if you have any questions. No trade offers please.  Thank you.
