About This Listing

Offered for sale, an Aria D'aquisto Teardrop in natural.

These are not too common out in the wild.

-25.5" scale length

-1.7" nut

-2.1" string spacing at saddle

The guitar is in very clean shape overall, with some marks in the sharp extended horn of the body (as may be expected), a few small dimples in the top, and a small dent in the binding that I could not really get to photograph. There may be some other very minor wear if searched but really in very nice condition.

The original owner had a custom piece made for the bridge, that provided a greater differential in string height from the bass to treble side (which is measuring at an easy 5/64"-3/64"). It was made in a very attractive wood that provides a nice color offset, perhaps Brazilian rosewood or Cocobolo. The original ebony piece is also included in the sale, as is the original hard case.

A beautiful sound from this guitar, and setup nicely and playing easily. It has that nice mid range pop you may expect from an archtop, and a nice tone quality. An extra boost to the bass range to my ears, perhaps on account of the extra air volume.

Thanks for looking, any questions please feel free.

I'm open to layaway or trade proposals.
